Kaiju No. 8 Anime Premieres in April 2024

 TOHO Animation has revealed the first trailer for their upcoming anime, Kaiju No. 8. Alongside the release, they have confirmed that the anime will air in April 2024.

Kaiju No. 8 is a manga written by Naoya Matsumoto. Shonen Jump + has serialized the manga since 2020. It has received a cult following and many requests for an anime adaptation. The Kaiju No. 8 adaptation is one of the most anticipated new anime airing in 2024.

The Kaiju No. 8 anime is confirmed for a April 2024 premiere, and a new trailer was released. Alongside the trailer, the main cast has been confirmed.

Expect to see more information about the anime’s cast and crew to be released soon. Additionally, TOHO Animation released an official synopsis for Kaiju No. 8:

“In a world plagued by threatening creatures known as Kaiju, Kafka Hibino aspired to enlist in the Japan Defense Force to defeat them. ‘Let’s wipe out the Kaiju together.’ Kafka pledged to his childhood friend, Mina Ashiro. Over time, life circumstances forced them to go their separate ways and caused him to abandon his lifelong ambition.

He found himself employed by Monster Sweeper, Inc., a professional cleaning company that specializes in cleaning up the aftermath of Kaiju battles. Meanwhile, Mina Ashiro is now the Captain of the Defense Force’s 3rd Division. As it stands, he is currently unworthy of fighting Kaiju alongside her.
